Smiling, Caring and Learning Together on a Journey with God

Butterflies and caterpillars

We were excited to see that our caterpillars hatched from their cocoons this week and had turned into 5 beautiful butterflies. On Friday they were released into our woodland area to continue their life outside.

When we visited the woodland on Thursday, we were amazed to see one tree covered in caterpillars that were spinning webs. There were hundreds of them and we were careful to look and not touch them. We also loved listening to the robin again, who sang most of the time we were there.

We spent Friday morning with the Juniors practising for sports day. We all coped really well, learning lots of new races and being in teams with different children. We then practised some of the races again in our PE lesson as we found balancing beanbags difficult.
