Fireworks and Patterns
This week our learning has been based around fireworks.
We have painted pictures using regular paint and brushes, then extended to using forks and coloured shaving foam. We used our phonics to write firework words.
In maths, we have been learning about repeating patterns. We made them with peg boards, shapes, sounds and even drew our own. We enjoyed using this game, filling in the missing shape. Maybe you could try it at home.

In phonics we learnt 4 more sounds: l, ff, ss, j.
Don't forget that next week we start our Muddy Mondays, so please bring in wellies and a spare pair of trousers.
