Smiling, Caring and Learning Together on a Journey with God

Time

In writing, we have been practising the skills to make our writing more interesting. We have been learning to use adjectives and expended noun phrases. We have also been checking we use the correct punctuation and capital letters in the right places.

In maths, we have been learning to tell the time. We started by recapping o'clock  and half past, then moved on to quater past and to, then onto the 5 minutes. Some of us found the time to the hour very difficult. Below are some games you can play at home. They come in different levels so you can practise whichever level you need.

We also have been challenged to practise learning our number bonds. We have started with our doubles to 10, but can try any of the other challenges we fancy.

Hit The Button

In PE we have been practising our gymnastic shapes and working out how we can link them together. We have been watching each other and giving tips as to how they can improve. We are making sure we stretch our fingers and toes and hold our bodies in strong shapes.

In art we have been learning how to use rollers to make our printing neat and accurate, ready for making our Christmas cards next week.
