We have been very lucky this week. We have had the Rainbow Theatre in school telling us about The Great Fire of London, and we have also had our 'Woodland Wednesday' time in the school woodland area.

On Tuesday, the Rainbow Theatre people came into the school. We watched the actors and some of the children retell the Great Fire of London events. 

On Wednesday we went to the Woodlands where we made bread over the fire, we talked about Thomas Farrier, we made bread like he did in Pudding Lane.

We watched how the fire moved in the wind and thought about what people in London might feel like near the fire.
