This week we have continued with our great learning.

In maths, we have continued learning about time and sequencing days of the week and months of the year. We have also thought about comparing intervals of time such as 60 seconds is 1 hour. We did really well at this and we could even think about how long it takes us to do different things.

In writing, we have been planning our own version of the Three Little Pigs where we have changed one aspect of the story. We also had pictures from the story and we were writing what happens next in the story to help us familiarise ourselves with the story.

In art, we have been exploring printing using different objects to make Christmas pictures. In our second lesson, we used rollers to apply paint to see what difference it made to our printing.

Finally, on Tuesday evening we had our story telling and star gazing session. The children (and siblings) enjoyed listening to Christmas stories and even though it was cloudy we still went outside and used an Ipad app to look at constellations and planets in the night sky.
