Wildfowl at the Wetlands
We had a great time at the Wetlands!!!!
The highlight of the week for the class would have to be our trip to Arundel Wetlands. The children engaged in different nature activities to help them learn about nature. We also saw a variety of different wildfowl in the hides.
In writing, we have been reading The Oak Tree by Julia Donaldson, putting the events of the story in order and then acting out a part of the story using freeze frames.
In maths, we have been looking at fact families for numbers bonds to 10, 20, 30, 50 and 100. As well as, revising our number bonds in our first lesson.
At home, you can engage in different activities to earn 'Guardian of the Wild' certificate and badge. The children received log-ins for this yesterday attached to an envelope with a free family ticket for another visit to the wetlands.
