We have spent lots of time reading this week, as it is World Book Week for us.  We have had different teachers in our class each day reading stories to us, as well as a story told by different teachers each playtime in the outside reading area.  We even had a visit from Rich Sherwell who read his book to us and answered all of our questions.

Thank you to everyone who supported our dressing-up day.  The children looked amazing!!

Outside of reading, we have spent some time this week building a short timeline of London starting from Roman times right up to modern day.  We also spent some time explaining what we know about the Good News of Jesus, which included a special guest as Rev Tim from South Bersted Church came to visit us for the first time.  We have also spent some time thinking about why it might be a good idea to unplug ourselves from computers, tablets or mobile phones for a little while every now and then.
