Smiling, Caring and Learning Together on a Journey with God
Autumn is here!
Autumn means Harvest Festival time!
What a busy week we have had in Apple Class again! We have been learning about human and physical features and weather in Geography, number families and using addition and subtraction in Mathematics. We have also been learning all about non-fiction books and what they can be used for in our writing lessons.
Here is a game that you and your children might like to try at home that will help with their addition skills.
Please remember, if you can make it, the KS1 Harvest Worship is on Tuesday at St Wilfrid's Church. Your children can be collected from there as soon as the worship has finished. Those that cannot be collected will be walked back to school in time for normal collection. This will include children that go to Up & Out and any clubs that might be running on the day.
The whole of KS1 will be singing a song at the worship, as well as each class doing a performance of their own. Here is a link to the KS1 song - in case the children would like to practise at home.
There are still a few children not coming to school with a water bottle. This does cause problems on PE days as we cannot take cups of water into the hall.
